Wedding Photographer In Scranton
When a couple who is looking for a wedding photographer in Scranton they often come to meet me in the studio. Today at a consultation someone asked me if I could tell them about myself. It was a rather interesting question to think about and as soon as I stumbled around that question I picked up a piece of paper and began to write. These were the words that first came to my mind.
O.k. So I didn’t really know what to write about myself as it seems like I would be trying to praise myself for some reason. Photography is my calling, my profession, and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday. I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest – and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. I wrestle with every image I shoot. I assume perfection is possible and I want to wring it out of every picture. If that’s all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say you know me very, very well.
As I read that out loud today to myself I decided to reflect about what it is to be a photographer. I thought much about the past year and this thinking lead to this post today. Having a chance to reflect on my work is something I rarely have time for. Fom now on I am making the time. I took some time to go through a few wedding pictures and pick out a few of my favorite bridal portraits from the last year. These pictures were taken from a variety of venues which include the following locations for their backdrop.
I thank all the wonderful venues who allowed us so much room to breath this year with our photographs. I can’t tell you how great it is to work with each and every one of you.
