I try to make ordering prints from Darkershadesofbrown as easy as possible and have partnered with SmugMug to ensure the proper color balance is used in the printing process. One of my greatest fears is that your pictures will be printed by an inexperienced printer who will use a different color space then what I work with to edit your pictures. The last thing I want are your prints being mounted on a wall looking all distorted and overexposed.
Argh… Makes me sad on the inside….
As of March 1st 2009 I will not be giving disks out to clients of low resolution images and encouraging all printing to be done via my website. I will be offering a high resolution disk for sale if you are interested in doing your own printing and will do my best to find you a printer that can adequately handle the job.
One of the things that I will do with your permission is to collect email addresses via a sign up sheet for all the people who attend your wedding so they can get in on the love and see those yummy images you paid me for. I offer a 10% discount for 7 days after the gallery goes live to help encourage your attendants to purchase your pictures for you if they wish. I find that this works out well for both you and all the people who came to support you on your wedding day by giving you a little post wedding gift.
When you are ready to order your prints the first thing you will need to do is go to www.Darkershadesofbrown.com and click on the client proofing tab.
The next screen you will see will be the gallery page and I will send you the info as to where your gallery will be so that you can find it.
All galleries are password protected and the password will be sent to you via email when it is up and running.
Above each individual picture and to the right there will be a buy me link that will quickly move you along in the ordering process.
Quantities can be selected as well as cropped for particular print sizes.

Order fulfillment is quick and easy and you will never have to worry about pictures coming to you in a way that they were never intended.
