Tara & Kris

Last year when Tara asked me to shoot her wedding I knew I was going to love the whole process behind getting to know them and figuring out how to photograph their personalities. I believe if I have the story correct when I say they met in Australia about five years ago and after getting to know them now I totally understand why they want to get hitched. They really are perfect for each other. Kris has a very gentle  way about him and Tara is genuinely one of the sweetest most gracious people I have had the opportunity to work with this year.

When I woke up on Tuesday I was a little sad that it decided to rain all day and when I say rain I mean a torrential downpour. I was sitting in the coffee shop catching up on some Hulu goodness when Tara walked in and proclaimed she had boots. Immediately the weight lifted off my shoulders and I thought to myself thank God these people are cool.

When you have lemons…. Make yourself some lemonade.

Big shout out to my people over at Serendipity Day Salon in Dickson City who once again did a fantastic job with Tara’s makeup although the rain destroyed most of it by the end of the session.

Holla back to the good people at Canon who make their 1D series cameras waterproof.

Love these boots and this dress…..

Looking forward to your wedding.
