The month of October always feels like the perfect storm for me as we get slammed with sessions all month long. This month we have 17 engagement sessions on the books for our 2012 clients and we are half way though them as I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. Blogging duties have taken a back seat as I am on the road most of the month seeing the country and what a great time of year to be traveling. I love Autumn so much as it feels like someone has painted the countryside in the Northeast.

For now all I have time for is a few quick pictures of this great couple I’m looking forward to working with next year.

Tonya & Tyler

Tonya & Tyler were really a pleasure to work with this year. Our session with them was rained out twice so scheduling became difficult but finally we were able to spend an evening with them shooting their TTD session. Every time we have the opportunity to do a session like this it makes me a happy photographer.

Here is a quick sneak peak from their session this week. We found an old flooded out river bank for the majority of these pictures in Upstate NY.

I loved everything about this location.

Yesterday I happened to have my point and shoot camera on me and had to take a few pictures of my son as he is changing like a weed. For a month or so now we have been noticing that his right eye is changing color. Really the blue eyes were the last piece of DNA he seems to have from me. As he gets older he is beginning to be a clone of my wife.

Words can’t express the joy we have with this little one.

He is our sunshine baby.

Every now and then I get the urge to post pictures that were so unscripted they may not make it on this blog. This series was taken in an old wedding carriage after the wedding on the way to the reception. I love having the opportunity to photograph images like this because often this kind of thing gets overlooked on a wedding day. Honestly, as a photographer I wait for these moments.
