Yesterday Jennifer & Sean got married and it will be one wedding I will never ever forget. Big shout out to Bryan for helping me out yesterday and being there to coordinate all the craziness that was about to happen. The day started out innocently enough as all of our weddings do documenting the girls getting ready and we ended up spending the morning at Cheryl’s Studio 2 in Scranton Pa. This was the first time I had the opportunity to work with the girls from this Salon and I was impressed with how well they worked with us.
This was also the first time Bryan has worked with me and I gotta say that he is made of some serious spare parts from greater nerds. I loved how well we worked together so get use to him as he will be joining me for many more weddings this summer and fall.

I didn’t know if I was going to talk about what happened at the Shadowbrook Inn & Resort 10 minutes before the ceremony started but let me first say that this wedding ended up being one of my more enjoyable days this year.
A tornado blew through the resort right before the wedding and destroyed everything.
I’m not kidding…..
My first thought was one of devastation.
I know that most people right now would be gasping at the thought of what just happened but let me tell you something.
I have never had so much fun at a wedding in my entire life.
I think the bride and groom would probably say the same thing.

Trees were uprooted all over the place and this one was about 100 yrds away from the pavilion.

This is a picture of Sean and his groomsmen checking out the damage that was done to the grounds where the wedding was supposed to take place..

Sean just looked at me and smiled.
“Let’s work through it”

So what do we do when the wedding gets postponed for a few hours while plan B is set in motion?
It’s time to set up the Crazybooth

Three hours later in a building with no electricity…
It’s time to get married.

Thankfully we were allowed to grab a few golf carts and head out for some pictures.
They were nothing but smiles.

My favorite shot of the day.

Maybe this one is my favorite.

Generators were brought in for electricity and food was salvaged
Partying like there is no tomorrow.
