We here at Darkershadesofbrown Photography have been talking about this for a few weeks on twitter and facebook and have created a bit of a stir so today I wanted to let everyone know that that we are officially launching our iPad Wedding albums. Ever since I had my eyes on this amazing device I have been thinking of ways to get them into my customers’ hands. So much is changing in how we display our images to our friends and family over the last few years and I can’t tell you how many requests I have received about how to best have images available for things like facebook and personal wedding blogs that people have created for their wedding.
After much thought I think we finally came up with an answer…
The Apple iPad will give you the freedom to personally show your friends all those wedding images you find in your wedding gallery….
Have you ever wanted to:
Create your own slide-shows and load your own music from your itunes account?
Get your images on Facebook?
Show your friends your images without having to bring them over to your house and open up your album?
Something tells me you have and now you can and with the purchase of this album option we will give you a one hour tour with your new device and show you the best way to do all of those things
Does this mean we are getting rid of our albums? Not at all, but we want to give you that additional option and provide a solution to that question you have asked us about displaying images digitally.
For more information about how you can get this option added to your wedding package as well as a demo of how it all works you can give us a call or email us at Dlanton@Darkershadesofbrown.com

I think this is the trend that portrait and wedding photographers are moving towards… the screen size makes it a no-brainer. Immediate viewing & sharing!
I’m waiting for Canon, Nikon, et all to make an adapter kit to connect the camera directly to the iPad. (I believe Apple added that connectivity API back in iPhone OS 3)
