Dmitry & Natalya were married this past Saturday in Wilkes Barre in a traditional Russian wedding and although I don’t speak a word of Russian…..
Not much needs to be translated with a couple so in love
I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since I shot their engagement pictures which can be seen here. We spent a long time that day just talking about marriage. I can honestly say that I fell in love with this couple over the last couple of months. In many ways their relationship just reminds me of my own marriage.
The day started out in Natalya’s home with the girls getting ready.
Probably one of my favorite pictures of a bride in just about ever……
I love how these flowers matched the girls dresses and I love even more the green and purple color schemes Natalya choose for her wedding.
These colors were everywhere.
I knew when I took this shot of Dmitry looking out the church waiting for Natalya that I would like it when I got back to the office and opened this one up on the big screen.
Athough I don’t speak a word of Russian I think this prayer offered by their pastor had to be one of the most beautiful prayers I have ever heard in my life.
The stained glass windows in the back of this church made my eyeballs pop out of their socket.
May God be with you guys,
I look forward to our Trash The Dress Session when you get back from the Honeymoon.
