happy moments

only come as we make them

appreciatively

or notice

so guard them

unpretentiously

close

LIFE

isn’t always

a trap

a dream

a lie

a hope

a day

a year

a blink

a lifetime

COURAGE

isn’t what you feel

its more like

doing

being

reaching

achieving

in face of neglect

fear

or exhaustion

ENERGY

reflects me

draw it out

like liquid butter

spread it

digest it

dispense it

expect it

contagiously

smile

INTEGRITY

is truth

bare naked

plugged in

consistent

whole

undigested

in spite

of humanness

in spite

GRACE

to live

today

for tomorow

a gift

undeserved

a most redemptious

offer

a promise

to come
