iPad Wedding Albums

We here at Darkershadesofbrown Photography have been talking about this for a few weeks on twitter and facebook and have created a bit of a stir so today I wanted to let everyone know that that we are officially launching our iPad Wedding albums. Ever since I had my eyes on this amazing device I have been thinking of ways to get them into my customers’ hands. So much is changing in how we display our images to our friends and family over the last few years and I can’t tell you how many requests I have received about how to best have images available for things like facebook and personal wedding blogs that people have created for their wedding.

After much thought I think we finally came up with an answer…

The Apple iPad will give you the freedom to personally show your friends all those wedding images you find in your wedding gallery….

Have you ever wanted to:

Create your own slide-shows and load your own music from your itunes account?

Get your images on Facebook?

Show your friends your images without having to bring them over to your house and open up your album?

Something tells me you have and now you can and with the purchase of this album option we will give you a one hour tour with your new device and show you the best way to do all of those things

Does this mean we are getting rid of our albums? Not at all, but we want to give you that additional option and provide a solution to that question you have asked us about displaying images digitally.

Engagement Photos

Dear Friends,

Many of you know that we are not available to shoot every wedding that we are requested for. Being in two places at one time is not a skill we have been able to figure out. This doesn’t have to mean that we won’t have the opportunity to work with each other. The images that you receive from our engagement sessions will blow your mind and free you from those evil robot controlled photographs you see of two people square to the camera under a tree in your local state park. We travel all over the country now shooting engagement photos and it is honestly one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. For the next month we are going to be giving a $50 discount to all people who have emailed us about shooting their wedding and not been able to book us due to our schedule. We want to give you images that will withstand the test of time and even though we can’t be there for your wedding we still think we can give you images that will hang on the walls of your home for years.

So here is how it works…..

Once your date is booked and a deposit is received for your session we will apply the discount from the remainder that is due at the time of your session.

It’s that simple!

Awkward Holiday Photos
 
 
It’s that time of year… The holidays are full of food, fun and oh yes the camera is inevitably pulled out and those awkward photos start coming. This year Darkershadesofbrown Photography wants to see those pictures from yesteryear. We will be offering a $75 gift certificate to Best Buy for the most ridiculous picture you send us. That’s right! We want to see them… we want you to look through that shoe box or hard drive and find a picture to send in to us. The winner will be announced on Christmas day via our blog.   
 
Don’t limit the fun to just yourself. You can forward this email on to your friends and family by clicking on the forward button on the bottom of this email. I will be limiting the entries to three per email address.
