Julie Chris & Hallie: A family/E session

follow DanielLanton at http://twitter.com

I first met Chris, Julie & Hallie last year when they started planning their wedding and when we sat down and talked I realized that they really wanted Hallie included in their E session as she is an important part of their relationship. Chris used to work with my wife and when she mentioned to him that I was a photographer they headed on over to my website and noticed that I had posted a family session that included a young girl the age of Julie’s daughter.  By the time I sat down with them they had already decided that they wanted a family/E session feel to these pictures.

Normally I spend the majority of my time just working with two people on an E session and we still did spend time with just Chris & Julie but I just couldn’t resist focusing on them as a family unit as that is what they are soon to become.

Last week this lovely family invited me to their home for a session and since I almost never post family sessions on this blog I thought it would be a good idea to turn a new leaf and start posting them.

I love me some awesome family chemistry and these guys did not disappoint.

For information on how to book lifestyle family sessions with us send us a line at Dlanton@Darkershadesofbrown.com and we will be sure to get you in our books for an afternoon of fun.

Luke & Brittney are the owners of Open Vision Photography here in Scranton and last month we connected on facebook and started to form a friendship.

That’s right people….We actually became real life friends and not just FB friends.

We have so much in common it’s a bit ridiculous and have found out it only begins with our passion for photography.

Peace & Grace to you both,

~Daniel~

Jeff & Heather

Jeff and Heather are my friends…. Jeff actually was in my wedding five years ago so at one point in time we were pretty good friends and then you know life happens and we didn’t talk all that much. About a year ago Jeff and I started meeting pretty regularly to encourage each other as we are both self employed and once upon a time in a galaxy far far away we were employed by the same company.

I say all this because I am happy to be his friend and a few weeks ago he and Heather had their second child…

Let’s just say there are small benefits every now and then to being friends with a photographer.

It was a joy to give them this gift.

I love how hands and little baby feet make hearts…
