Lindsay & Ethan on the Delaware border

Lindsay & Ethan invited me down to their home on the Delaware border this week and I thought I would just share a few images from their session today because I absolutely love the piece of property they asked me to visit.. I usually get a bit nervous about people inviting me to their home for pictures as I don’t know what I will be walking into in regards to interesting backdrops to shoot against for pictures.

As you can see from these pictures there was just so much for me to look at….

I got a little jealous of their backyard.

Looking forward to your wedding in October

Christine & Tim in Boston Harbor

Christine & Tim had me come over to Boston yesterday for their E Session. I had been looking forward to going to Boston ever since they mentioned they wanted their pictures taken there. Of all the places I travel I have never stopped in and taken a tour of the city so when Christine told me she wanted to take me sailing in Boston Harbor I had a hard time containing my excitement.

As you can see….

They brought the “awesome” with them….

LOVE these next couple of shots!

As the day was ending we had a bit of a rough time trying to get back into port.

Tim was giving us the “it’s ok we won’t die today sign”

I wasn’t convinced.

Thanks so much for giving us such an awesome day.

You guys make “my rad persons” of the week list.

Tara & Kris

Last year when Tara asked me to shoot her wedding I knew I was going to love the whole process behind getting to know them and figuring out how to photograph their personalities. I believe if I have the story correct when I say they met in Australia about five years ago and after getting to know them now I totally understand why they want to get hitched. They really are perfect for each other. Kris has a very gentle  way about him and Tara is genuinely one of the sweetest most gracious people I have had the opportunity to work with this year.

When I woke up on Tuesday I was a little sad that it decided to rain all day and when I say rain I mean a torrential downpour. I was sitting in the coffee shop catching up on some Hulu goodness when Tara walked in and proclaimed she had boots. Immediately the weight lifted off my shoulders and I thought to myself thank God these people are cool.

When you have lemons…. Make yourself some lemonade.

Big shout out to my people over at Serendipity Day Salon in Dickson City who once again did a fantastic job with Tara’s makeup although the rain destroyed most of it by the end of the session.

Holla back to the good people at Canon who make their 1D series cameras waterproof.

Love these boots and this dress…..

Looking forward to your wedding.

This past week Ben popped the question… Fresh off the pop the question trail we have pictures to prove it. I could still see the I’m getting married glow in Ashton’s eyes.
