Martha and Justin welcomed Marissa into this world last week and I had the oppotunity to come to their home for a newborn lifestyle session. I always like coming to peoples homes for newborn sessions. The pictures are so much more organic than what we do here in the studio. I had to share a few quick shot from this session.

Darkershadesofbrown Best of Weddings 2011 The Knot Pennsylvania & Delaware

Earlier this week we were made aware that the Knot named us in there best of Weddings 2011 for Pennsylvania and Delaware and although we have never been the kind of photographers that seek out recognition from our peers It was an honor to be given recognition for the work we are so passionate about. One of the great things about this recognition is that it was derived from the data collected from our clients. We do our best to treat all of our brides like they are the only clients we have and this is testament that we are conveying that to the people we work with.

2011 was a fantastic year and we can’t wait to get going with 2012.

Big thank you to the knot for such a distinction.

Winter Weddings in PA

October is not typically the time of year that we get a foot of snow in PA but I just had to share a quick picture from a wedding this past Saturday in the Poconos. It was the kind of heavy snow that just sticks to the trees and I couldn’t help but use it as a backdrop for some wonderful portraits of this fun couple.

Had to post a few quick shots from this Trash The Dress session this week. Loved the architecture that we used for these pictures.

It was raining the day of this session so we had to climb into this old furnace in Scranton.

Too much fun…

It should be illegal to have this much fun with a camera.
