Tara and Ryan brought me back to Pittsburgh for their engagement session this past week and took me for a stroll in and around their town as they told me the story of how they met and came to get engaged. It was a fun day for me even if it meant 11 hours in my car to get back and forth from Pittsburgh.

Last week Kaitlyn & Mike invited me to their home in Philadelphia for their engagement pictures. We spent the evening walking around the outskirts of their city taking pictures and just hanging out getting to know each other. I love spending time with my couples before their wedding because it gives me an idea as to how to photograph them when their wedding rolls around.
Every couple is different and unique and my approach to their photography is always different. These guys are very comfortable with each other and their photographs reflect how happy they are.
It will be a joy to be part of their wedding.
Jessica & Steve live in Wisconsin, but are getting married here in Bethlehem this year and this was the first time I had met them. I love engagement sessions so much because they give me the opportunity to work with people before their wedding rolls around. We walked around and talked most of the day occasionally taking pictures and here are a few of my favorites from their session.
